We have welcomed about 3000 students to San Diego since 1995, from over 80 countries....wow...most go home happy with their 'experence'....it is real good stuff for the resume, no doubt....study in the USA, California....
How many have been able to log enough mental and digital pictures here to make it a profound eperience? Like, life changing...
It gets you out of your home country and into the California culture...some are so in love with this place they cannot leave and do anything to stay....
Others just return...
It reminds me that places are as powerful as 'faces' in our life.....the sense of place...
So it is a part of the ultimate picture, after all....how we build our geo-planetary lifestyles is driven, as it should be, by partly the places we do love so deeply...
I love San Diego. That was part of my equation, for sure!
