Whether it is love for an animal....or each other....I believe love is like a force that goes out as energy....maybe with the speed of light....and it travels to the farthest corners of the place we call 'universe'..thus it keeps on going forver, whatever forever means to us here...it far excedes our own lives, and space....and travels, and travels...and travels....

Thus, love can never be truly lost. It is an act of the giver. It eminates from the fire that starts within us...it is started by us. If we can be strong enough to set it free, it triumphs any other force in life...
...light....into the night...
...conquers fear, fright...
...goes forever....with our hearts
...gives us sound, song, and sight..
...that love, forever, we might....
