The Speed of Light....in Our Minds

There is the speed of light....actually, what it is....186,000 miles per second...
Then, there is the speed of light in what we perceive....may be faster or slower than the actual...
But perception is everything....

Our minds can make time and motion just slow down...or speed up....

After writing just several days ago about jetting over to Copenhagen from California and Chicago...
I got back from that fantastically successful trip, through Amsterdam....just as fast...

One day at home, then to Asia, where I am now already one full day.
It feels good....you might ask, why?  how could it?

Here is why....

This planet is smaller than we know.
People connections are everything.  Plane connections are second!
Some moments in our minds just stand still in time.  They are frozen like life-long photos...
Most of those are good ones.  The memory is down to the seconds, minutes...

Then there are whole passages that whir by like a blur...

We have to get down to business, yes.
But, we have to get down to what really matters....
Its the people who matter in our lives....the connections are so frail...and yet so enduring...
Its the places that matter, yes...
It is our life destiny that we are writing the script of every day...

It can travel sometimes so fast it may catch up with the speed of light...
Or, if we can savor it, sometimes so slow, that each micro-second is like a whole lifetime....

Our own clock inside our heart is not a metric like what measures the speed of light-actual
It is the ultimate clock of our universe, because we and our hearts are at the very center.

I said earlier, love moves at the speed of light out into the universe...and it does..
It can also move as slow as each second we wait to hear from someone....each heartbeat...
The clock of our heart is the clock of our life.

Nice to be back here in Asia...the smell of fresh tea....the warmth of friends....
Time has slowed down for a while....and it feels so good!
