The Book Is Out!

This is more of a note to potential readers than a journalistic piece.

I saw what the book looks like, as in the "Proof Copy" from Amazon yesterday via Skype from San Diego.  I will be back there Saturday night from Paris, Germany, Holland over these last two weeks.

Fun to see your actual creation on Skype first time!  Looks not bad!  There will be lots of last edits before the final release, but it is almost there!

Funny, seems like some of my more important writing has taken place since the finishing of the book!  That is a common disease of premature finalization for artists and creators.  We all know the rush!

One day left for this trip, maybe one of the most important.  And, like in writing, after I get home, there will be all the things I thought should have been said, done better.

The life of the creator is never quite complete!  But we must live it.  Auditions are rare.  The play is taking place right now, as we go....we take our chances...we give our best, every day...

Fresh Paris coissants and coffee in the morning...so nice....almost as nice as those moments in California looking East as the sun rises to the smell of fresh coffee...
